In conjunction with Cersaie 2026, the international exhibition of Ceramic Tile on stage in Bologna, Andrea Bassi
— inventor and CEO of MagFace® — will be physically present at MagFace Academy , in Castelnovo di Sotto
(Reggio Emilia), to meet architects, designers, and general contractors.
Two windows are planned: from 21st to 25th September, coinciding with the fair week, and a second
session from September 28th to 30th. In both, Bassi will personally lead the meetings at the Academy,
showing the close up Magnetic Surface System of dry installation that he designed and patented throughout the world: a
technology that eliminates glue, dust and demolition from the surface installation process.
The initiative was born to bring the direct experience of technology to those who design and build spaces
tomorrow, in a more intimate context than the show: not a stand among hundreds of others, but a comparison
direct with the person who invented the system, in the very place where it was born.
The meetings, free and by reservation, take place in two-hour slots - three per day, in the time slots
09:00–11:00, 11:00–13:00 and 15:00–17:00 — with limited places and direct confirmation from the team
MagFace® after the request.
MagFace Academy is located in the heart of the Ceramic Valley, between Modena and Reggio Emilia, the district that
produces 80% of the Ceramic Tile Italian — a non-random location for a company that has made its
surface technology is its core business.
“Technology can change the way we design, install and experience surfaces,” he said.
Andrea Bassi.
